The very own shining star of YPS, Gursobha Singh has recently added feathers to his journey of achievements at the Punjab Horse Show Championship 2016. The 17-year-old Class XII student of YPS Mohali, Gursobha has recently bagged 5 gold and 2 silver medals in the championship. Riding his newly-acquired European mare ‘Connie Briton’, Gursobha stole the show during the horse show championship held at PAP grounds in Jalandhar. The championship took place during March 8 to 13.

The Proudest Moment for YPS School, Mohali!

March 13th i.e. the final day of the Horse Show Championship was supposedly the best day of the championship for Gursobha. It was on this day when the shining star of YPS won the exceptionally challenging ‘Six Bar Show Jumping’ event. The challenge of jumping six fences consecutively that increases incrementally was both progressive and puzzling. However, Gursobha’s performance in all quarters of the day was at par excellence.

Gursobha and the legacy of Pride:

Well this is not the first time when Gursobha has brought honor to Punjab and YPS altogether. The young upcoming talent has won several nation-level equestrian competitions in the recent past. While even participating in the team event, Gursobha has proven his mettle in the distinctive zone of Six Bar Show Jump.

What the Shining Star has to say!

In his interview with The Times of India, Gursobha exclaimed that he is quite satisfied with his performance. While his current focus is to perform well at the senior national equestrian championships, his future goal is to ultimately represent India in the international arena. Consistency in performance is the focus for Gursobha right now.

It all started….The Journey:

Right from the age of seven years, Gursobha has been riding horses. His elementary training started when his father, Mr. Kamalbir Singh Dhindsa himself took the lead of his training. Since then, Gursobha has participated in various national and regional Horse shows.

On the behalf of each and every person associated with Yadavindra Public School, we take the opportunity to congratulate Gursobha Singh on his extraordinary performance and achievements.

It is just the beginning Gursobha… you have much more to conquer, and we wish ‘All the Best’ to you in the future.
